La Salata archaeological park
La Salata Archaeological Park is located 3 km from the hotel and is the most important cemetery complex in Gargano as it represents the oldest evidence of the arrival of Christianity in the Gargano territory. The Necropolis is located inside natural cavities and progresses onto a cave with a cliff about 30 meters high.
The Umbra Forest
We are just 15 km from the Umbra Forest, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, a true natural oasis not to be missed. The Umbra Forest is rich in flora and fauna: inside you can find Wildcats, Badgers, Dormice, Deer and Eagle Owls. There are also 65 species of wild Orchids!
Vieste
Vieste, a gorgeous, white, beautiful and appealing town is just 10 km from the hotel. Its historic center stands on a rock overlooking the sea characterized by medieval arches that enclose small narrow and curvy streets, once artisans and traders’ ghettos, now animated by small shops and clubs open until late at night. The appealing little squares of the historic center are the ideal setting for photographs to be remembered for a long time. A rocky spur that rises on the long beach of Vieste helps to admire the Cathedral, the Castle and the famous Pizzomunno.
Peschici
The town of Peschici of Moorish origin overlooks the sea at 12 km from the hotel. Its shape is really picturesque and leaves one's eyes pleasantly surprised. Strolling through its historic center feels as though you are going back in time and breathing an ancient atmosphere, perfumed with iodine and maritime pine.
Monte Sant’Angelo
In Monte Sant'Angelo you can visit the Sanctuary of St. Michael the Archangel, one of the oldest in Christendom. The Sanctuary is a world heritage site and the town itself is a typical example of medieval beauty, located close to the Gulf of Manfredonia.
San Giovanni Rotondo
San Giovanni Rotondo is a place known all over the world because of St. Pio, who lived and performed his functions here. San Giovanni Rotondo is a place full of sacredness: you can visit the enormous Basilica dedicated to the Saint and pay homage to his sacred remains.
The Tremiti Islands
The Tremiti Islands cannot be missed during a holiday in Gargano. There are five islands: San Domino, San Nicola, Capraia, Cretaccio and Pianosa and they shine for their naturalistic beauty and for the sea which is the envy of the Caribbean.
The Sea caves of Vieste
The sea caves are natural ravines that set up the Gargano coast and offer glimpses of the sea. The caves can be visited thanks to a boat trip that also allows you to enter inside these caves. The most famous caves are the cave of the Smugglers, the Bell and Sirens.
